National Scholarship Scheme- NSP

Students can apply for federal and state scholarship programmes through the National scholarship portal. The Government of India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has started this portal. Through this portal, the people getting help can even check the status of their applications.

To get a government scholarship, you must fill out an application on the National Scholarship Portal and follow the steps we give you. From 21st August 2020, they will also accept new applications. National scholarship Last Date Extended – NSP Scholarship

To motivate people to go to school, the government gives scholarships to all students who qualify. Every year, this scholarship is offered. The government has moved the deadline for applying for a scholarship to 2021. The state’s higher education director has told all of the state’s schools, colleges, and universities. In this notice, he has said all schools to ensure that all eligible students apply for the scholarship before the deadline. All level 1.1 and 1.2 students can apply for scholarships until 31st December 2020.

The first verification phase ends on 31st January 2021, and the second phase ends on 28th February 2021. All the students of minority background who want to apply for the scholarship based on merit before, during, or after high school must do so by 31st December 2020.

UGC- Schemes (University Grant Commission)

University Grants Commission (UGC) is the top organisation in India for higher education. Applicants can also find some scholarships offered by the University Grants Commission on the national scholarship portal. Students in college and university will get financial help from these scholarships. The NSP UGC Scholarship application process has started, and the deadline to apply is 5th February 2021. UGC Scholarship Application Deadline Extended

The UGC has pushed back the deadline for applying for the scholarship online. Students who haven’t yet applied or renewed their applications can do so now. The last day to apply for a UGC scholarship on the national scholarship portal is 20th January 2021, and the previous day for the student to be verified by the Institute has also been moved back. 

The new date for checking is 5th February 2021. On 1st September 2020, the process for applying for a scholarship through the national scholarship portal began. Applications are still being accepted for the Indira Gandhi PG scholarship for single girls, the university rank holder PG scholarship, the North-eastern region Ishan Uday special scheme, and the SC/ST professional course PG scheme. If a student wishes to obtain a scholarship, they must fill out the application form as soon as possible.

Eligibility Criteria: Ishan Uday Special Scholarship Scheme

  • The annual income of the applicant’s family must be less than Rs.4.5 lakh.
  • The applicant must be the family’s only girl child (twin daughters can also apply) (only for PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for a single girl child)
  • The applicant must be residing in one of the North-Eastern states, such as Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, or Nagaland (for Ishan Uday special scholarship scheme only)
  • The applicant must have started their degree programme in the first year (Ishan Uday scholarship). The applicant must have started the regular master’s degree programme in the first year (PG Indira Gandhi scholarship)
  • The applicant should be younger than 30.

Eligibility Criteria for PG Scholarship for University Rank Holders

  • All those who are in their first year of post-graduate studies.
  • The applicant must have done well on their high school exit exam (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)
  • The applicant can’t be more than 30 years old.
  • The applicant must be from that group for the PG scholarship scheme for SC/ST students.
  • The applicant must have gotten at least 60% in high school (for PG scholarship for university rank holders)

First Step

  • After entering the captcha code, select “Register.”

Second Step Login

  • Use your “Student Registration ID” to log in.
  • On the “Application Form” icon, click.
  • On the screen, the application form will appear.
  • The state of residence, Name of the student, date of birth, community/category, father’s name, Aadhaar card number, mobile number, scholarship category, gender, religion, mother’s Name, annual family income, email address, etc., are among the details that must be entered.
  • Clicking “Save & Continue” brought up the following page.

  • Simply select “Final Submission.”

Procedure To Fill Institute’s Registration Form

  • Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website.
  • You’ll see a home page open in front of you.
  • You need to click Institute login on the home page.
  • Login: A login form will now be visible in front of you, and you must:
    • Select academic year
    • Enter user ID
    • Now Enter password
    • Enter captcha code
    • Click to login into the NSP profile.
  • A dialogue window will now display on your screen, requesting that you select the “ok” option. You must select the “OK” button.
  • Application form: A signup form will now be visible to you.
    • You must first upload the Institute’s Nodal officer’s identity verification to the registration form. You must choose the image by clicking on choose file and doing so for this reason. Remember that the image must be under 200 KB in size and PDF or JPEG format. You must then click the upload identity evidence button.
    • You must now fill out the registration form with all the necessary information, including:
      • AISHE/DISE/NCVT code
      • Name of Institute
      • Do you want to change the Name as per AISHE/DISE directory in NSP?

  • OTP: An OTP will be sent to the Nodal officer of the Institute’s registered cell phone number. You must input the OTP in the OTP box and complete all other necessary fields.
  • All of this information must be input very carefully, and before submitting the form, you must first save the data by selecting the option to “save the form” and then selecting the “final submit” button.
  • Reference Number A reference ID will be generated once the form is submitted, and the Nodal district officer will receive it.
  • Print Out: You must provide the printed version of this form to the district Nodal officer. The document needs to be appropriately signed and stamped.

Update Profile of The Institute

The new password will be emailed to the Institute Nodal Officer’s registered mobile number after the District Nodal Officer approves the registration form. The Nodal institute officer must log in with a new password and take the following actions to make the profile functional: –

  • Visit the national scholarship portal’s official website.
  • You’ll see a home page open in front of you.
  • You need to click Institute login on the home page.
  • Login: A login screen will now show up, requiring you to:

  • The institute Nodal officer’s registered mobile number will now receive an OTP. You must input the OTP and click the confirm button. OTP
  • Change Password: You will now see a new page open where you must reset your password. The next step is for you to click “submit.” You must now select continue to login.
  • Update Profile: At this time, the Institute’s Nodal officer must update the profile. To accomplish this, select administration. Click on update profile after that.

The supplier believes that all of the information you provided is accurate, but if any of it is shown to be false or deceptive, your scholarship application may be rejected.
  • Never wait until the last minute: Always submit your application before the deadline to avoid any last-minute issues.
