3.97 Lakh Beneficiaries to Get Benefit of Scheme
Under the Jagananna Scheme, the Andhra Pradesh government would grant an interest-free loan of Rs 10,000 to 3.97 lakh small traders in the state. On June 2, 2022, the government examined this programme and instructed the village and ward secretariat, district collectors, and rural and urban poverty alleviation agencies to determine the beneficiaries.

Jagananna Thodu Scheme Rs. 395 Crores Loan Disbursement
Bank immediately credited the grantees’ bank accounts with the amount of the interest-free loans on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.
In addition, 3.95 lakh people received brand-new loans with no interest when the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) issued cash totalling Rs. 395 crores and Rs. 15.96 crores to pay interest on previous loans.

Jagananna Thodu Scheme Third Phase
On February 28, 2022, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the third instalment of the Jagananna Thodu Scheme. The self-employed traders have received a total of Rs 510.46 crore in interest-free loans under this programme, with a 10% interest rate.
A total of Rs 526.62 has been given to the beneficiaries as interest payments totalling about 16.16 crore. From this programme, 510462 citizens have benefited. The Andhra Pradesh government introduced this programme on November 25.
